Micro-loan

Micro-loans are small, no interest loans that are given to new business men and women in the local community.

All recipients of the loans must first complete training in business planning, accounting and basic marketing as well as skills that are specific to their business, eg. sewing, animal husbandry.

As a result of Micro-Loans, local people have been able to set up a variety of businesses from motorbike repair shops to an animal banks.
