Safe Haven
In order to grow and develop Christian leaders, CHO needed a multi-functional venue that could be used as a base for training, education and workshops. In 2008, construction of the Safe Haven Center began, with the aim of creating a building that could be used for a variety of CHO projects.
At present the center is used in a number of ways:
- As a vocational training center for Community Transformation Projects such as Agriculture and Water / Sanitation.
- As the center for training and education in Church Planting and Christian Leadership.
- As a Christian School; providing education and accommodation for children and young people rescued from human trafficking projects. The school is a safe place for vulnerable children where they are able to not only learn basic skills such as mathematics, reading and writing, but also receive teaching on the Christian faith.
