CHO works with families within Poipet, empowering them to generate their own income through a variety of agricultural projects.

Animal Husbandry

An old proverb tells us ‘Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime.’

CHO runs animal husbandry projects with that in mind; equipping families and communities with the knowledge they need to breed and raise animals. Communities no longer need to rely on outside sources and families have the skills they need; skills that can be passed onto future generations.

Mini Farms

In order to empower families to generate their own income, CHO provides support in establishing integrated mini farms within communities. A central part of this project is helping communities to plan effectively, so that the mini farms can grow, thus providing a sustainable source of income.
